Fuji X-E2 Firmware Update?

Back in September there were hot rumours about a major firmware update for the X-E2 to bring it more in line with facilities the X-T1 offers, probably to come in mid December.
Well, we're there now (almost) and it seems to be very quiet - has anyone heard or spotted anything?

I think thats the new firmware for the XT-1

If this actually arrives and it sorts the autofocus I'd sell my XT1 - I so love the XE2/35mm combo

I doubt it will even happen if the new X-E3 rumours are true..

It might be on the back burner since the recent update for the XT1 to align it with the XT10 was rolled back due to the XT1 freezing in certain modes.
I wonder if the XE2 won't be done until the XT1firmware update is reinstated.
