Fuji X-M1 or Samsung NX3000

I have nearly come to a decision for a camera to take on holiday so city night shots and general photos out and about.

Either a Fuji X-M1 with a 16-50mm lens and mail in offer for the XC50-230mm lens (which i will possibly sell) for £260
Or Samsung NX3000 with 16-50mm lens that comes with Lightroom 5 (Which again i will sell) for £180

Any suggestions on the better camera I am tending to go towards the Fuji however the Samsung is a lot smaller and more pocketable
 
The Samsung website states lr5 which makes sense as it's not supported in lr4.

As for the original question, either will be fine for travel. If you're building a system I'd go for the Fuji though. And if you need stabilisation, the Samsung lens doesn't have it.

Where can you get the xm1 and 16-50 for £260? As far as I can see its £349+ everywhere.
 
Personally I think the Fuji in the long run would be a better system to buy into than the Samsung. Light room and Photoshop you could always purchase a license from adobe online for about £9 pcm which helps a bit to spread the cost.
 
As said not too bothered about lightroom so would just sell it online anyway, Just awaiting a mail from John Lewis to see if they price match from a site that is selling it for £260 and also asked Fuji if they will accept the lens offer from the other site too.
WIll let you know if either comes through and if so will let you know as soon as i do.
 
Like above has said you have to look at the system as a whole. You will no doubt end up buying more lenses. Samsung lenses are great and compact and can be picked up cheap. Fuji's are built better but are a little bigger in general and cost more.

Where is the samsung for 180? That must be import too.

No the Samsung was on offer for £200 all this month from Currys and John Lewis, however I missed it by a day , but managed to get a new / opened one from Ebay for £180 and will sell on Lightroom for £50 i think is the going rate on ebay so I could put that to another lens.
 
50 is for the student edition you might get a bit more. When it drops below 200 I might get one and do the same.
 
What I did was look out for nx5/nx10 which were sold in twin lens kits. Some had primes and some had tele zooms like this one http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/261635131440?nav=SEARCH selling for £160. Find one with a 30mm keep it then sell the rest on for £120-£130 you get a super sharp super compact prime for £30-£40.
