Fuji X series bodies/lenses for astrophotography

Does anyone on here use Fuji X bodies/lenses for astro work e.g. Milkyway shots etc?
I would like to have a go with my X-M1 body but feel the 16-50mm lens, whilst capable, isnt the most ideal for the job.

What lenses would people recommend to use with the X-M1 body?

I'd be asking my question based on what support there is for Fuji in the usual astrophotography software (unless you're doing single shots which means dark skies and the widest possible aperture).....

Sorry should have made it clear! Im not talking about star trails and stacking etc.
Just single shots - wide as possible -high ISO - big apertures

Im also interested on how you approach a starscape shot in post editing to bring out all the detail.

Samyang 12mm f2 - manual ficus, but cheap and a nice wide aperture.
