Beginner Fuji X-T1 and flash option(s)

I have recently moved from a Nikon dslr to this camera. At the moment I only have a single Nikon SB700 speedlight, but would like to use it on/off the X-T1. Is this possible? Or should I change to some other similar specced flash? Just trying to weigh up my options for this particular camera.

Off-camera with a trigger will work.

Will that be with full TTL, or would it have to be set to manual mode? As for triggers, any specific make/models?

I'm not aware of any TTL triggers for the Fuji system, but tbh I'm not current on the latest triggers and not interested in TTL for OCF. I use RF-602 dumb triggers for my X- E2.

The answer is no doubt already in the very long -T1 owners thread, but it might take you a few evenings to read through it all
