Fuji X10 or X100 or Olympus e-p3

Im ditching my DSLR setup (d90) and going for a smaller system.
I only shoot photos of my kids so want a small ish camera.

I really like bokeh in my shots so whilst i know im not going to get DSLR quality bokeh a little background defocus would be nice.

Im considering the Olympus e-p3, Fuji X10 and X100.

No my head and my wallet both say the X10 but i really like the look of the X100!!!!

Any suggestions as im getting confused looking at all these cameras now!

Been looking at swapping my EP2 for an X100 but I'm not totally convinced yet.
Not totally sure that I'm ready to switch to having the fixed lens really.

EP3 would be a good bet if you would like to change lenses, or if price is a concern either an older Olympus Pen (EP2, EPL2) or one of the Panasonic micro 4/3 bodies?

Well the x100 will give you more bokeh than the x10 and the E-p3 and the x10 the least because of sensor size.
Then you have to consider lenses, can you manage with the fixed lens of the x100, do you want interchangable of the e-p3 or the zoom lens of the x10.
The x10 is the most compact of the lot.
The x10 viewfinder is purely optical and contains no information. The x100 viewfinder is hybrid, while the olympus has no viewfinder (unless you pay extra for an LCD viewfinder).

To be honest, if I had the extra money I would probably have gone for the x100 but I would have missed having the zoom that I do have on my x10. However, if you have the money and don't mind the fixed lens then I would say the x100.

Not really true, confusing bokeh and DoF...you can more easily get a small DoF in the x100 and EP3 (difference between APS-C and u4/3 isn't too big) but you can get nice bokeh on all three cameras. You just have to focus a bit closer + open the aperture more on the cameras with smaller sensors.

My two cents: if this is replacing a D90 I'd choose between the EP3 and the X100, simply because of image quality. EP3 if you want interchangeable lenses, X100 if 35mm is your ideal.
