Fuji x100 views.

Would be interesting in hearing from owners of the x100 to let me know about how they are getting on with the camera, what issue they have found with the operation of the camera or another quirks.

How do you find the low light high iso capabilities of the camera, is it all it is hyped up to be.

Also how have you configured your camera with regard to the shooting menus, are you shooting primarily in jpg and just doing the odd raw or is it vice versa.

Would be great to get some proper feed back on the camera.

I haven't really shot much with it (it was bought as my go everywhere camera, but because of the weather I've barely been anywhere!), but I like it.

The high iso is definitely the best I've seen in such a compact body (I haven't seen a Leica M9 and don't want to - out of my price range, definitely!) - I would say that it's usable comfortably at 1600 and at 3200 when exposed to the right or with a touch of Lightroom's noise reduction.

I shoot in RAW other than when I have a specific reason to want the photos quickly - haven't done any real testing with jpeg but I've read good things. I'm just used to using RAW.

I've been experimenting with leaving the camera permanently in manual focus mode, because you can then use the AF-lock button on the back to trigger autofocus. (I'm used to having back button focus and it's one thing I notice when using the X100.)

The only real downside I've come across is that I find it virtually impossible to change which focus point I'm using without taking the camera away from my eye (it requires using two different buttons. Maybe as I use it more I will, but I would have preferred a more direct selection approach like you get with Canon.
