Someone I know recently asked me if I thought they had a fault with their Canon 5D III. When he looked through the viewfinder he was noticing reflections at the bottom and was wondering if there was a problem with the mirror. I did not notice it at first as you have to intentionally look down as you look through the viewfinder (as one would if they have to wear varifocals). When I did notice it, I started looking into other full frame cameras and noticed the same reflections. Has anyone else come across this issue? Generally speaking, it would not pose an issue for me and I'd ignore it as you don't notice it when looking through the centre of the viewfinder, but understandably, if you'd paid for a 5D III, you'd want to know that there isn't a fault with the camera. So, can anyone confirm if this is a problem or not? I've only noticed it in Canon full frame cameras, I've not had a chance to look through any others and I also see nothing like it through a crop sensored camera. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks
