A very nice capture. Not sure what's going on in the bottom of the frame, though? My eye can't see past the fuzziness.

The 'fuzziness' was just to bring the initial attention back to the faces and expressions.

LOL...gaussian blur is the technical term

Alright, then, gaussian blur. Whatever you call it, it's actually accomplishing the opposite of what you intended, drawing the eye directly to the bottom of the frame. The expressions in this image are very strong and hold the eye, without the heavy-handed blur.

Yeah I agree. Am I right in thinking you blurred it to detract from a dark pair of legwear? I'd try it either without the blur, or by cropping instead. I think it would work better IMO.

Nevertheless, great capture!

definitely the second - as others have said - the blur attracted the eye, but that's fixed - so a great shot!

I really like the 'life' in this one .... glad you got rid of the fuzz though.

Just realised why it had the blur....this is a crop from a larger photo where the right leg was really distracting. On the larger full frame print it was OK but on the crop it does look weird.
