Fun with Flowers

Well as some of you know, from my panic about not being able to use them properly, I have purchased a set of studio lights. This evening I set them and my new tripod up and had fun with some flowers my friend had sent me for taking pics of her baby. I was pretty happy with them but still life has never been my strong suit so I'd love some good critic. Thanks!

Hmm, numbers 1 and 2 are a bit busy and a bit flat for me personally, too much light if you see what I mean, and a shallower depth of field needed to blur some of that background [but hey, what is photoshop for? ] but the focus is spot on and the details very clear.

Number 3 is much better, very lovely though again possibly slightly over lit so a a little flat, number 4 is by far my favourite

I would agree with the above Renee, and #4 is very nice indeed.

Thanks that is exactly what I'm looking for as I'm just learning with these lights.
