Here are some springtail shots and a fungus gnat. Enjoy.

I have been asked by my nephews school to provide them with a selection of insect photographs to be used to help teach the children about nature and bugs etc. However i reckon some of the bugs may look a bit scary ;)

Excellent series, particularly the first, but I always come away disgruntled, as my efforts in this field always end up in complete failure, so I end up being envious of yours (and others) abilities.

That aside, I hope I can recognise quality when I see it, and these are quality :)

Wow it is amazing how close you can get with macro lenses. Its lovely to be able to see these little bugs in detail - thankyou for sharing your great photos.

I love the the first one, that's gotta be my favourite.

The detail in the fourth one is good as well.
