Fungus ID please

Hope this is the correct place for this, can anyone ID this fungus for me please.

Is it a geastrum fimbriatum or a geastrum triplex?

I would say triplex. Great things - earthstars. The first time I saw one it was like looking at something alien.
I use first-nature for ID after getting an idea of the probable species from my book.

Thank you both. Definitely looks alien! I don't remember seeing one before in the garden or elsewhere, it's at the foot of a flowering cherry.
