FX or Z lenses

I’ve just bought a Nikon Z5 with an FTZ ii adapter. I have a few FX lenses but wonder if I would I notice an improvement in image quality with Z lenses from the FX lenses with adapter? Any thoughts gratefully received.

Yes. A lot of Nikon consumer grade lenses were not great, so Z glass should be better unless you have pro level older lenses.

Depends on the lenses, but probably in all cases the Z options are sharper. They are focus by wire though which has it's upsides and downsides.
