G12 AF settings and C1/C2 question

Hi,

I've just recently got myself a point and shoot in the Canon G12.

Coming from a D300 background where i use single AF point focus and recompose then let the D300 AF system track the subject, I was wondering if anyone knows what the matching AF setting should be on the Canon G12.

There is the "Tracking AF" and "Face AiAF" modes. According to the manual both follow the subject.

Also, when switching to C1 and C2 modes, is it only the aperture you can set? (Couldn't see any way to set the shutter speed.)
