Gallery Reorganisation

I'm thinking that my gallery needs a bit of work to it, as it is at the moment it just has a seperate album for each place/date I've visited/taken photos on.

I've got a tendency to just upload anything and everything - now webspace isnt a problem but the site is getting a little unmanageable with over 3200 photos and I've not really started to get the canon stuff together yet.

I think a more professional method of organisation is in order. I might keep the personal photos together in Personal photos and have holidays>events>random things in there, but then have a artistic section which is split up into nature>landscapes>animals>portraits and just upload my best work.

I'm also wary of having too many levels, I dont want it to be too difficult to navigate - what does everyone think?

depends what its for really, i have mine as the main groups, Animals, Lanscapes, People, Places etc as that works best for me. Really need to upload more stuff to mine too...

I've had a go with it and I think I've got it how I want it.

Moved all my albums to personal albums and have a portfolio now too.
