Gannet photography trip

I did that trip last summer. It was a workshop via Steve Race (wildlife photographer). Cost me £120 for all day. Boat trip out in the morning to diving gannets, then up to RSPB Bempton Cliffs to photograph the various birds atop the cliffs.

Essentially you'd be paying £105 extra because it's Andy Rouse rather than Steve but I know they do workshops together sometimes. So you may find that it's both of them on the boat :)

I saw this advertised on Facebook last week. From what I gather it's two trips out on the boat, one morning (5hrs) and one late afternoon (4hrs) or like you say one 6hr trip if the weather is not so good for one of the sessions. I would say part of the additional cost is more/longer trips out on the boat and Andy Rouse being the guide. It looks good, I don't like boats so it's something I wouldn't do, 15-20 minutes to Skomer is my limit!
