I have been trying to get shots of these leaf hoppers for a few days on my yew tree

My first time for seeing a ground hopper and I could not get close at all on a local nature reserve

Springtails again

I cut the laurel leaf from teh bush and here it is upside down with the feeding point filling with sap

A new one for me again on the bin

What I think is a tiny wasp at maybe 3mm on the other bin

I'd rotate the hopper - well done on getting it. Know how they can hop away as you get them in focus. Think the first two springys look a bit dark - but that may be my monitor that I am currently using (uncalibrated).

Nice shot of the new springtail and the wasp is a nice find too.

Thanks Chris
Leaf hoppers are tough to get. Yeah the springtails are a bit dark.
