Interesting shot, marksman. I prefer the first to the second. Can you get a lower perspective? Colors are very nice, but I feel a bit claustrophobic in the photo as is.
 
only had 70-200 lens on the camera mate otherwise I would have tried for a full shot, will take a smaller lens next time and see if I can get a better composition.

The aim of this one was to get the exposure on the water thats all.

You have caught the motion in the water nicely, which I believe is what you wanted. I prefer the 1st version although the 2nd version is nice and bright. Try it with the camera in portrait position with the big lens next time if you don't have a wider angled one on you :)
