As a birthday prezzy, wifey treated me to a place on one of Gary's studio lighting (lencarta sponsored )workshops yesterday , and came along herself .I want to say a big thankyou to GARRY for being such a nice guy and a fountain of knowledge.
just the right blend of instruction and "get on with it then".
it was nice to meet other studio shooting "virgins" and work with the lovely Cassie , model for the day.
i would recomend Garry's workshops highly to anyone considering some kind of training in lighting techniques .
this guy has probably forgotten more than most will ever know about lighting.
i came away with a lot of ideas to try out in the studio, and the wifey says she learnt a lot too.
and she has been doing portrait work in our studio for two and a half years.
sadsly i have already forgotten the names of the other guys there yesterday.
i know at least one was a TP contributor too .
