Whats the difference between the clear and the cloud, and which is considered to be the better option.

sto-fen is the cheaper and less of a **** looking option lol

I see no difference between the two systems in terms of output

As quoted on site.......

"Choose the "clear" version for fast action, large groups and dimly lit scenes."

" Use the Lightsphere II Cloud for close ups, portraits and events."

I bought the clear and if I need cloud, then I just insert a piece of grease proof paper round the body to diffuse the light. You cant do the reverse and it saves buying both.

Hope this helps

I'm more of a ceiling/wall man myself :D

I admit it's harder to carry ceilings and walls with you, but the effect is better than anything you can stick on your flash - especially if you can bounce off the wall & ceiling behind you

That didn't help at all now did it

for £35 its worth a play, and can be sold on if a total waste of time.

True indeed

Isn't their a Honk Kong copy for about 37p though??? £35 is still a lot of money for a reshape of the same plastic they use in milk bottles these days IMO

Seriously though, if you get it right bouncing off walls & ceilings is way better than any of these flash attachments, and especially so where you're balancing with ambient light as it can appear that you didn't use flash at all - try that too
