Gatesy's Wk52 Pics - Now with Wk 10 - Trio

Hi Gareth, I've not spotted your 52 before.

Your early pictures didn't really do anything for me I'm afraid. Composition and focus appeared to be a problem with several of them.
But weeks 9 and 10 have really turned a corner.

The colour in 9 is certainly eye catching. I didn't think the legs were real at first, but reading the threads I see your GF lent a hand, or should that be foot!

Week 10 is the best of the bunch for me.
I like the DOF in the image. My only niggle is the blue tint on the rim of the banjo - what is it.

I'll apologise now for the link, but when people say bango, I hear 'Deliverance' Linky - It gets going about 2 minutes in!
 
Thanks for the comments Mentalblock. The blue tint us the reflection of the tv I think I shot this on my settee during a break in whatever I was watching.
I feel my photography is improving every week as I get out more & more with my camera.
 
Your last two pics have really upped the quality of your 52. The finish shot is mesmerising. For me a little less skin smoothing would have worked better.

Love the banjo shot too. Very nice lightng, DOF and composition.
