That's a good attitude ........... wildlife is just so satisfying ...... maybe even more so the older (and more wiser) you get

I agree with both yourself and Robin Bill. I often meet people when I'm out with the camera at home who ask me if I've taken anything good. More often than not its a no but I always say I've had a great walk.

In fact the highlight of the trip for me was lying in the long grass on the edge of a field hoping that the hares would come close and turning around to look in the field behind me to see a hare 6 feet away just sitting looking at me through a gate. It sat there for a good 45 secs before just loping off. Probably the closest I will ever get to one and the fact that I couldn't photograph it doesn't bother me in the slightest.
