Genuine Nikon battery issue

I bought 3 Nikon batteries when I bought a D750. No issues until I tried charging one of them today. It blinks really fast and won't charge at all. No issues with my other Nikon and 3rd party batteries. Battery had not been dropped or wet in any way.

I understand a rapidly flashing light on charger may mean the battery may have failed. It's only around 5 months old. Any fixes??

I would just return it to where you bought it from as I would expect at least a years warranty even on a battery, after all they are about £50 a pop.

Just attached my grip and looked all the status sections have "--" on but OK for the grip battery.
