I used to Geotag my photos using a track GPX output from a Garmin Etrex handheld navigator. This device was old, and since died. I've no intention of replacing it as I now use an app on my Android phone to do everything my Garmin device did (Osmand), and I used to use a programme called Geosetter to add the location taken to my images.
But when trying to use the GPX output from my phone, and Osmand, both being capable of producing a GPX track, Geosetter now tells me it is unable to read my GPX track. Having Googled the problem I understand some devices add all sorts of extra data to GPX tracks which make them unusable to programmes such as Geosetter, (admittedly old and not updated for a few years). But all these "Googlings" have never offered any solutions.
It's a minor thing really, it won't affect my pleasure of photography. But if anyone can make any suggestions I'd still like to continue to Geotag my photos.
Thanks,
Pete
