Wow..i just stumbled on this post,thanks everyone..
I have been home now for about 6 or 7 weeks and getting along fine now,they say about 3 months is the usual time it takes to get back to normal..they were going to send me home from hospital and call me back at a later date for the operation but on having more scans etc. they decided i was a ticking time bomb(had i had another attack on the outside i wouldn't have completed dialing 999,I'd be dead) and kept me in until the operation,7 weeks in all.
I ended up with a quadruple bypass,at the moment I'm taking things very slow(but i always did
)walking most days when the body says its ok..you have to listen to ya body,if it says stop then you stop,i'm currently having cardiac physio twice a week which is great,gives me confidence as to how far to push myself..I'll soon be running around London i hope
