Hey guya and gals, im taking my partner on a ghost hunt end of march and she wants me to take my camera with me and take some pictures which i dont mind at all, just wanna pick your brains people, what setting would be best on my 400d and would i need a flashgun or will the pop-up one do? also would i get better shots if i use a canon 50mm 1.8 mk2 as it will be low light to very dark i imagine, any help would be great:thinking::thinking::thinking:

Having never caught a ghost on camera before im not sure what to advise im not even sure many on this forum could give any useful advice on taking pictures of ghosts:shrug:

who you gonna call :exit:

Good luck and have fun

lol, im not looking into catching a ghost:eek:, just need info on low light photography, and what setting to use, its going to be at a castle so ill be taking photos of that and abstracts mainly:eek::help:

Sorry can't help.

You'd be better going on a toast hunt. That way you can use a macro lens on a tripod, no need for a flash.:D Now that's given me an idea------------------------------------------------------------------------:thinking::thinking::thinking::thinking::thinking::thinking:

Having been of a few Ghost Hunts myself i must tell you that it will probably be pitch black! Depending on where you are going of course.

When you view the images, don't get all excited thinking you have photographed Orbs as they are more likely going to be dust particles.

Where are you going and with which organisors?

Some people claim infrared will photography ghosts, this rather depends on two things, A your camera being IR sensitive, and B there being any ghosts around. Might be woth trying for a bit of fun if time allows. Wayne

tripod, long exposures, bit of flash in the middle if there is something particular you want to catch :)
