Gig Photography Advice Please.

Shooting my cousins son's band at a gig shortly,something i've never done before so just looking for some advice on camera settings etc,i'll be shooting with a D300,Sigma 70-200 2.8 and a Sigma 30mm 1.4,these are the fastest lenses i have,thanks..

I say you've got a pretty good set up for gigs, shoot with the lenses wide open, shutter should be fast enough to freeze action, increase ISO as needed, have a look here http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=165114
