Gileston with a 7Artisans 35mm

Went out yesterday with the 7Artisans 35mm on the XT20. Love this lens! I'll be going out soon with just the 55mm f1.4 to see how that performs also but after having a tooth pulled today I'm in no mood to go anywhere soon and feeling very sorry for myself. Loved how it slowed me down, these manual focus lenses make you feel like your using an old analogue camera, a little nostalgia!

From a technical sense 1,2 and 8 seem very high in contrast and blacks. Is that the way the lens renders or is that PP? Not a fan of quite such a contrasty look but in B&W these would work better with the contrast/blacks as they are

No, the lens is very neutral so that's down to me. Wanted to have some grit in no.8 as I liked how it looked within the concrete blocks and 1&2 I crunched the blacks in to give more contrast as that's how I remembered the scene when I took it ans wanted the emphasise the weather.
