Hi,

I've owned a Benro GH2 Gimbal head before which I thought was a superb bit of kit - really well made and smooth. I'm wondering whether to buy one again or if the Gitzo fluid gimbal head would be a better investment?

I'll be using it with my Canon 300 f/2.8, Canon 80D and extenders.

The Gitzo head is better. But it is also bulkier (not heavier). And it has fluid damping which cannot be disabled; that's a good thing, but some might not realize it or like it.

i like my manfrotto fluid head, take the video arm off and i find it very versatile. Its just very heavy
