Thinking of buying a Giottos screen protector for my new Canon EOS 7D.

Does anybody know how these attach to the camera and if it can be removed without leaving marks?

They fit by double sided tape around edge of protector and can be removed by working cotton under and around edge and then just remove the residue with a bit of cleaner. They cause no damage.
 
I've just got one for my camera and apparently you use a hairdryer around the adhesive edges and gradually and carefully lift it off.

I assume you are referring to a Giottos AEGIS screen protector, which is made from Schott glass?
