Hi.
For sure Im not the only one wearing glasses all day and sometimes struggling to get good view through viewfinder...

Im getting really annoyed with my 'stock' 5d viewfinder ( or maybe just with its rubber cover)
Are there any other ones, more glasses friendly ?
Maybe someone had simillar problem ?
Any advice welcome:)
Lukas

i take mine off and adjust the viewfinder diopter for a sharp view......just can't get on with glasses and a viewfinder.

ive started doing same but without rubber cover its just to easy to scratch your glasses :/

I use a +1 diopter viewfinder attachment from Canon. It just slips on in place of the standard one. I think the cost was about £18 or so but it was hard to source and I had to wait a while for delivery. I just can't stand looking through the viewfinder with glasses on either.

Edit : This is the kind of thing I mean, prices have gone up a bit since I bought mine

I would need +5 lol but still prefere not to take my glasses off heh

I occasionally use an EX-15 (eyepiece extender) which shrinks what you see so you can see the full frame when wearing glasses. A diopter adjustment isnt practical for me as im badly short sighted and taking them off is far too awkward.

You would need to find the full frame equivilant of the EX-15 though.

You could always try Canon andsee if they can offer any solution

Might be worth a phone call to EOS Magazine, I have found them very knowledgable and helpfull in the past
