Gloucester Cathedral views

Took a load of shots on a visit to Gloucester Cathedral recently and tried to covert some to b&w using Elements 10, but I think they lack something.
Any comments and advice welcome.

#6 is my favourite!. As for the B+w I might be tempted to add some more contrast and see where that got me.

I like number one the selective colour works quite well and 4 looks good too but I am afraid the others are not working so well imo. The processing does not work for me, particularly the last one, there is so much noise probably caused/worsened by the processing itself.

I would like to see these with some high contrast black and white processing without the hdr.
