Wow! Im very jealous!
Wish my Goldies would use the feeder, they just pop in for a quick munch on the evening Primrose seedheads and theyre off again!

Sunflower seed hearts seem to keep them on the feeder whilst the Blue and great tits tend to grab a seed and fly up to hold it against a branch to eat. Greenfinches, sparrows and starlings will stay and feed..Chaffinches are more unstable on the perches, preferring to clean up at ground level along with dunnocks and collar doves. The poor flower bed is now being flattened by up to fie pheasants who i think are developing a taste for daffodil bulbs!

Good idea about sunflower seed hearts I feed ours niger but they dont hang around long
