I'd like to see these in colour...seems a bit busy for b&W

Here they are in colour. They don't do a lot for me in colour to be honest. I'd always perceived them as B&W. I've just done a similar thing for some abstract rock photos and the colour version grew on me - but I'm not sure about these. Feedback appreciated though. Self editing is a tricky thing.

I like the first in colour a lot (however i'd crop the stones out) and 3 looking again is great in B&W. 2 i can't decide. I love the subject matter

Ansel Adams might have disagreed. But it depends on what and how you see these things. I see shapes, textures and patterns. Some others are more literal and only see a mess of branches, leaves and roots. That's ok - it's a subjective thing mostly.
