Aye, Rode mics are very nice. I use a Sennheiser K6 broadcast mic with mine, also stunning, but Rode and Sennheiser can both get very expensive real quickly.

Fair enough, but if I were shooting pics of my own kid, regardless of who else may happen to be caught in the images, that are going into my own photo album, never to be seen by anybody but me and my family, I still don't see how their logic applies.
 
This is the 1st year since I ended up a slavverer that I have managed to take a video of her and photos. And it felt bloody good doing so

This is what this was all about, you having a smile back on your face. It's a tiny bit of normality.

Makes me real chuffed that EVERYONE who chipped in has given you just a little sparkle back in life.

Very much so.

I wonder if they have paid the proper rights to sell recordings of the play. That can be very very expensive. Some plays/musicals cost an arm and a leg just to stage in fees.



Just glad wheels enjoyed it and that the uber chariot seems to work well and it's giving him the edge with its POV.


Rode mics are very good in general. Although unless you were down the front you would not get a great sound as you would pick up all the noises around you before you got anywhere near the on stage sound. I'm not sure how much noise insulation/seperation is built into your set-up, so if you do get a mic it is very possible it will pick up every move/vibration thought the chair and overwhelm the mic.

borrow one if you can to test it out.
