I have made a gobo projector by stripping an old Minolta slr so I can place a gobo behind it, and then place my off camera flash behind it. I can then project and focus the gobo through the lens with 80mm being very tight, and 30mm being quite large. So far so good. I have however found I cannot get it large enough in the small space available at home. As I cannot find a cheap 14/24/28mm lens in Minolta fit to widen further (trying to keep this cheap, spend around £30 to date including 7 small cheap 28mm gobos via amazon) I was thinking of the cheap lens adaptors to try and increase the size.
Would a cheap “macro diopter” such as https://www.amazon.co.uk/Opteka-Ach...?ie=UTF8&qid=1513027557&sr=8-2&keywords=Macro do this or would it reduce the image?
