Have to remember that people don't shop online here. Price.com.hk is the only price comparison site and it's not very reliable.
If you want to shop around in Hong Kong, you got to get out and go around the stores. As I said, don't be surprised if some things are more expensive.
Check out the computer markets aswell, they have a fair selection of camera stores as well. Wan Chai Computer Center, Golden Computer Arcade in Sham Shui Po. Ap Liu Street in Sham Shui Po has a lot of used gear shops.
The big chain stores like Fortress and Broadway are usually OK on price....again though, their websites are rarely up to date, you'd need to go into the stores.
If you want bargains, accessories, electronic gizmos etc, they will be found in the markets I mentioned.
If you *really* want to get bargains, you need to hop over the border into the mainland. UK passport holders can get a 5-day Shenzen only visa at the border for about 30 pounds. Take the metro to Huaqiang Road, walk into pretty much any building and it'll be endless floors of electronics and photo stalls. You can haggle here.
Wildlife photography....not a vast amount to be honest. The pink dolphins can frequently be spotted from a boat trip from Tai O. Black Kites are everywhere all over HK, there's usually a gaggle of twitchers on the end of the pier in Sai Kung looking to catch shots of them fishing. All sorts of insects, snakes, wild boar around, but varying degrees of difficulty to find. The botanica gardens and Kowloon park have a meagre captive collection.
