Going to school for 2 years!!

I got word today that I have been given a place at my local college to study for an HNC in photography, at the age of 45!!

Even better in Scotland its free. I applied earlier this year but after seeing the mass of talented youngsters thought I wouldnt have a chance.

The course seems to be full on and the facilities are amazing with 2 studios , more pc's and macs than I could count and they reckon that they are the only college in Scotland with thier on printing lab. Think they said it costs students a quid to print A3 images.

Well done! Sounds like great fun. I'd love to study photography full-time in some way, shape or form.

I'm sure you'll love the facilities...sounds ideal. Now...where's my kilt?

I can't wait until i go to college, I'm planning on taking photography too! I've heard great things about the course.

Well done - I've thought about it myself at the ripe age of 47 - problem is here it's just too expensive as I would have to pay.
