Yet more practice with the new Sigma 150-500mm lens, one of the few birds that sat still. C&C welcome, are the colours too strong, I had the camera colours set to vivid, I'm wondering whether they should be set to auto or something else

You want that on Normal or Standard (forget what it is called on the D80), Vivid is fine for holiday snaps, but far too much saturation for birds.

Thanks - I suspected it was too vivid having looked at some of your lovely shots posted on here. I'll have a play at more normal settings and tone down the saturation in camera.
