Lovely set Dai,my only little nit pic is they look a tad over sharpened as i can just see a halo appearing,especially in no1 around the beak,hope you don,t mind me saying,

John. The halo on the first image was there before sharpening, I think it was the way the light was hitting the beak. Since having the 7D I have noticed that I had to up the sharpening a bit compared to the 1D and 50D.

A lovely set of a good looking bird, well taken David. I get the feeling that in number 1 there may have been a bit of head movement causing the halo effect, that plus the lighting, could be wrong though.
I agree about the sharpening between the 50D and 7D, I put it down to the extra size of the image in the 7D having more detail and therefor needing more sharpening. I'm sure there is a much more technical reason for it than that though. Cheers
