Nothing spectacular i know but i liked the perch the bird landed on....Also it was the only bird that landed anywere close enough for a shot.
This was after a day on the Wirral waiting for the short eared owl to turn,all was not lost though as it was spent with Jeff @the black fox and there is never a dull moment with Jeff around ...as always a great day none the less...

For a colourful bird they are very much underrated, I think it's with them being so common across the country
