Gonna try this (content warning for those at work)

Well they don't do anything for me :(

Imagine looking at those with a hang over........

bit wierd them innit?!

A landslide is imminent in one of them.

It's an interesting idea but I personally think it carries limited mileage and is very dependant on the subject matter. On saying that though the impact could well be resticted by the small images, bigger sizes may work much better?

Are you going to attemp this Liberalis?

Damn they effect your eyes!!

Oh and sorry for the mahooosive thread revival! :)

It's already been done.
It's called bullet time, just watch a matrix movie to see it in action.
This shows 2 images taken from 1 camera, the bullet time series is done with at least 20 cameras taking a shot at 1/2 second intervals and spliced together..........nothing new here, move on!

WOW! we just jumped back over 5 years!!!

as to the images, im not sure, a little stange, if theres only 2 images on a loop, it doesnt really do much? however with the reference to bullet time, that works much better

Good idea, but doen't quite pull it off. Would like to see the stereo images for real though

blast from the past, but....3d cameras are in stores now, so I guess SOMEONE liked the idea.

Actually it's called stereoscopy and it's been aroundsince at least the 1890s :)

how do you go about making these type of pics? Do you need specialist camera or just a dslr and some fancy software?
