Good compact bag suggestions?

Hi, I would like a protective bag for my 40D, I had one for my 400D which was just big enough to get it and a lens in with thinish but sturdy padded walls. This is just to keep it in at home etc, and I have a record bag which I carry all my stuff in when at shows etc so dont really want a huge full on camera bag!

Any ideas?

I think the Billingham Hadley range may fit the bill, especially the black ones. I've got a Hadley Pro - I use it for my D90 and a couple of lenses. Leaves room for lots of other stuff. Inside padding comes out too, turning it into a good looking general-purpose shoulder bag. In black, you can't really see the branding.

Just changed my lowepro slingshot 200 (which was a great bag for my 450D and 2 x lenses) for a Tamrac Expedition 5. Cant fault it. Got my 7d 3 x lenses 2 x flash and my old 450D in it and its still failry compact.

Thanks- I am considering a larger bag now- are there any smaller bags for just the camera available- that are more like a slip than a proper bag? I just dont want the camera to rattle around in my record bag un-protected

What I do most of the time is keep my camera in an Optech Pouch and put that in the unpadded (insert removed) Billingham. A Digital Mid-size fits a D90 and 35mmf1.8 very nicely and a 85mmf1.8 at a squeeze.
