Good LCD Screen Protector?

Hi All

Just got my new 50D and wanted to protect the LCD from new so I added a Jessops stick-on protector film (pack of 3 for £5) but it degrades the viewing quality something terrible! Anyone used any other makes/types which are near invisible but still protect the screen?

I got the GGS glass protector from eBay and it's perfect.

The GGS lcd protector always have them fitted to my Nikons LCD screens - even got a GGS fitted to my SB600 ......

Personally I've always used MartinFields protectors. Always been happy with them.

mine looks like that so have just ordered a new one.

Mmmmmm so-so just dont use anything sharp or metal etc etc - but they do leave some glue residue behind... But with gentle rubbing with a very soft cloth it soon comes off...

I never bother. The built in screen protector are great and can cheaply be replaced (£20) in the event of an accident

It was with mine.....

I used a credit card to gently prise under one corner of the protector. Once under the lip you can carefully work around the edge to separate the screen from the lcd. Make sure you blow off any glass chips first to avoid scratching the lcd beneath. There didn't seem to be any glue residue left behind when I did it.

The CC prob helped out there, I did mine with my finger nail - was a wee while ago now thou.... God knows what it was stuck down with thou as certainly could've used it for someother things around the house :bang:
