Good tripod with a budget of around £100

Anyone point me in the way of a good tripid for around £100.

Want to do more landscape stuff so i have no idea what a good stedy tripod i should get.

any help would be great i understand this is a silly question lol
 
Secondhand Manfrotto 055 should fit the bill nicely

Just as importantly get a good quality head that doesn't creep, no good having a sturdy tripod with a inferior head and vice versa applies too
 
I just ordered a Redsnapper. Was £109 but used discount code RED10 and got 10% off it. I spoke to Joe this morning as I couldn't decide what head to get. He's really helpful!

yea i see the head i would like it was like it had a grip to move the head about etc..

will look at manfrotto stuff picking a head for one is the next hurdle
 
Redsnapper tripods start at £54 something. They do one for £58 something in the special offers with a 3 way head but you can't use the discount code.
 
Have a butchers on the misc classifieds Joe, seeing this thread and replying to a couple of others recently prompted me into action ;)

(Mods, only trying to help out and don't think any profit will exactly change my life)

Redsnapper all the way, ive used mine with a canon 40d gripped with sigma 150-500 OS with no problems at all, this was using the redsnapper ballhead.........

Can't fault Redsnapper, my ballhead and aluminium 3 legs are working like new after a good year and a bit after -cornwall - lakes -dales - moors - locally.
 
Hahnel Triad 30 Lite. Cost me £35 ad its the best £35 I think I've ever spent. Crazy feature packed and really nicely well built!

Thats my recommendation!
