Yes
I've just bought my first smartphone ever. So I'm very new to this business.
Any idea how to access a manual mode?
I was hoping to be able to choose my shutter speed but the built in app don't give access to any settings?
Or maybe I'm wrong?

Any advice welcome. Thanks.

Pretty sure the pixels don’t have manual modes as they use computational photography which takes multiple exposures and blends them. You can probably download a third party app for it, but the whole point of pixels is they do it for you and do it very well.
If you wanted true control, you should have gone with a Sony Xperia phone. They shoot raw and have full on manual modes with aperture priority, shutter priority etc.
Ive had most “flagship” phones from all the major brands including the pixels and the pixel 3 I had took the sharpest photos out of all of them, including my current Samsung s21 ultra.

I don't think you can choose F-stop, shutter speed or ISO but you can adjust the exposure. If you touch the screen (to select a focus point), brightness and shadow sliders appear. You can also select RAW.

Sorry never saw there were answers.
Thanks indeed.
I've not got snapseed yet but maybe I should try it.
