Hello all.
An afternoon session at Llyn Padarn (Llanberis lake) These birds come to bread and can be so close at times that you back off with just a bare 300mm lens on.
Female bird.


The male bird is a bit of a mare to expose properly at the best of times. Today in bright sunlight, this was my best effort

Hi John,
I have got the whole bird in the frame (male) I tried to get as much detail as I could so left a bit out.
Dai. I had to heavily underexpose in harsh sunlight to preserve the whites and perhaps a better person than me could improve the final image. I will have another go at them when I get a mo. Many thanks for some constructive critique.
