Been looking at getting a GroPro for the past few months but dont know much about them??? i do loads of caving and outdoor sports and i think i would get some better photos with this rather than getting the d300s wet!!!

Any help on this would be good?? or is there other cameras out there??
 
I love my Gopro. Use it for Scuba diving and Mountain biking.

Looking at how many pro's also use them they seem to be the way to go.

They are superb - I have 2

Very small and easy to mount to almost anything given the number of different mounts and clamps that come with it.

There are 4 flavours - 3 being motorsport, helmet and naked (these are full 1080p hd cameras and do various frame rates Inc 60fps). The different model names define what mounting options come in the box. The fourth is 960 which does 960 and 720p and limited frame rates.

I have shot a number of videos on mine - attached to an mx5 and also more recently a motorbike.

There are others but as mentioned above, the pros (top gear, gadget show etc) all use gopro.

wicked thank you.... then i guess the next question is where the best place to get them from?? whats different between the 3 is it just the mounts??
