Just been reading up on these. The screen looks good and will be interested to see if the night mode is much of an improvement.

I hadn't read anything that specifically mentioned the optics. I did read that they reckon the new silver (with screen) is a 3+ Black with added screen. How true tho I do not know.

I did read somewhere it is one of the lower models remade!! I do believe the housing is built in and not removable now. USB port and card port has been moved to the back.
