This was taken with Kodak DX6490....as I'm coming here and learning more I am thinking I could probably improve this more-so through elements or whatever [when I bloody get it]
As for now....any comments would be nice

Personally feel it needs more contrast, the foreground feels too light for my taste

Nicely framed, just needs more contrast. What was the colour version like ?

This is A colour version, due to them being from a point-and-shoot I didnt convert it I actually took the first picture in BW, rather than colour.
However, this is the nearest "similar" colour version I can find.

Have done a black and white conversion on that colour version, it seems to bring out the detail a bit better, hope you dont mind:

Nope I dont mind at all

B&W doesnt do it on this shot. Its just grey noise on white and black.
The touches of green and ochre in the colour version add far more.

the picture is not big enough to make an accurate judgement on this... but it looks oversharpened
I may be wrong but with it being so small its hard to tell much about it at all

You can see another version of both the BW one and the Colour one in my sig...[flickr] they may be better to tell. As I have stated in this they were taken with a point-and-shoot so if the sharpness etc isnt right...its all the camera's fault!
