Gorillapod SLR/Zoom and Ballhead

I'm thinking about buying a Gorillapod SLR Zoom to use on holiday later this year (I don't really have room for my Gitzo CF Tripod unfortunately). I was wondering if I would be able to use my RRS ballhead with the Gorillapod, or do you have to use the Joby ballhead. Anyone know?

You can fit and use any head you want to on the SLR Zoom.
